5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Stars: Bang for the Buck, February 9, 2005
This review is from: Washburn D100 Acoustic Guitar, Natural Mahogany
I gave this guitar 5 stars not because it's the best guitar out there, but the best guitar for the money. I tried out a lot of guitars before settling on this. I can tell you you will not be disappointed with the sound, especially if you're just starting out, like I am. I spent $100 on this guitar and just love the sound, feel & look of it. Very good construction. The only thing it needs is a set of new strings. NEW STRINGS MADE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. I bought the EXP strings (custom light) and not only did the action improve but the sound as well. The guitar now stays in tune for MUCH longer. Overall, great investment.

5.0 out of 5 stars good stuff my freinds, January 28, 2005
This review is from: Washburn D100 Acoustic Guitar, Natural Mahogany
Look i bought this guitar thinking i was just going to get a cheap $99 guitar, the thing sounds awesome, and it plays like a champ. Good action, nice tone, all of the frets are clean there isn't any ring of the strings or anything. I'm telling you for 99 bucks your getting a really good deal. Dont be the guy that passes this up!

I got this looking for a beater - but it sounds darn good and plays excellently. If you look closely, you will see that it is an inexpensive guitar, but if you PLAY and HEAR it, you won't think it is.
