About the Author
Maude Meehan, author of WASHING THE STONES, SELECTED POEMS 1975-1995 (Papier-Mache Press**, 1996), which includes her first two books of poetry, CHIPPING BONE and BEFORE THE SNOW as well as new work, is widely published in literary journals, reviews, magazines, textbooks, anthologies and is co-author of the filmscript, WHEELS OF SUMMER. Maude leads poetry workshops through UCSC Extension, Department of Arts and Humanities. Currently, she is at work on a new manuscript.
