5.0 out of 5 stars Washington DC With or Without Kids, September 8, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Washington, D.C., with Kids, 2002-2003 (Paperback)
This is a wonderful, extremely helpful book. Not only does it contain the pertinent, necessary information, but it has so much more.
While it is geared toward traveling with children/students, the information is enlightening to adults also. I was amazed at the information I did not know, and all the wonderful trivia contained between its covers. Places I knew about but wasn't that anxious to see are now on my list of places to visit, along with those I learned of while reading this book.

This is a guide that needs to be used in planning a trip, not just explaining what you are seeing while there. It will help to determine how to spend your time in the nation's capitol and to get the maximum amount of enjoyment and information for ALL age groups.
I must also add that the authors' style of writing and their practical advice, along with a delightful sense of humor made this an extremely easy and enjoyable read.

This is the only EDUCATIONAL guide to Washington, DC with kids -- and is now available in its 2nd Edition, published by Fodor's.
The second edition completely updates the sites and the restaurants and the recommendations -- based on input from readers as well as extensive research by the authors.

HIGHLY recommended by its readers!
