This review is from: Old Washington, D.C. in Early Photographs, 1846-1932 (Paperback)
Having conducted genealogical research in DC for nearly 20 years, I found this work especially interesting. There are a number of photos of buildings long gone but relevant to my work. I was even fortunate enough to find several structures built by ancestors and relatives, though they are not mentioned by name. There was one error I found - on p 45, photo 57 is identified as "Hotel Fritz Reuter" instead of Hotel Fritz Rauscher.
