I recently traveled to Washington DC and enjoyed all the history I saw. I wanted to send my 2 young nephews a fun book about DC. They like sticker books. This one is great. I sent each one a book, and they enjoy the reading and placing of the stickers.Washington, D.C. (Ultimate Sticker Books)

This is an excellent resource for young students, lots of interesting facts and graphics. No idea why it's a board book, but it didn't hurt for my third grader to feel like I finally gave her an "easy" book to read (not that it is especially easy). Enough material for a short report, not too much for a cursory glance at our nation's capital.
