Santi Visalli was born in Messina, Sicily, and has lived in the United States since 1959. His photographs have appeared in
Time,
Newsweek, and the
New York Times, as well as in other leading newspapers and magazines throughout the world. Mr. Visalli is currently president of the Foreign Press Association of New York. In 1996, Santi Visalli was bestowed with the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy.
