This book covers the state of Washington in words and vivid dramatic images. The writers spent several years researching the materisl for this written account which has many never before published photos. (black and color)
Everyday activities like shopping, the advent of the automobile age, profiles of the first inhabitants as well as settlers are extensively covered in the text. The book traces the origin of the industries that grew up around the rich resources of the state. Aircraft construction and High Technology are also covered. This written and illustrated account is a tribute to the collective achievements of the people of Washington state and a legacy dedicated to the descendants.
