Picked this up and several other coin folders from Whitman and I am very happy with them. This quarter coin folder holds the coins well and the coins sit just right that you can insert them with your finger and feel secure that it wont pop off. Recommended!

this is just one of many whitman albums i bought here in amazon. they're all good. coins fit perfectly i.e, not too loose, not too tight. all you got to do is put the album on a flat surface then push the coins to their respective slots.

I was very dissapointed with how cheaply made this folder is. The holes for the coins are much to small, and when you apply pressure to insert the coins, you end up tearing through the folder. The Whitman folders I purchased years ago are much better than these. I suggest you look for other coin folders. The printing on the cover looks very cheap and is not up to the old Whitman standards either.

Quarters do not fit,

The quarters do not fit in the book and you either have to bend the book to get them in. Most fall out because they will not fit in the hole completely.

Purchased for a 9 year old boy in order to get him interested in coin collecting. The folder is very good, and I have already ordered several other editions.

It is what it is. Good quality coin folder. Had'em in the past. Just picked up some new ones to get the kids into collecting coins.

This album is no good after 1998!,

The Whitman brand name has been a icon in coin collecting for years. When I started collecting in the early 90s, I used their folders, including this one. So what's the problem with this folder? The folder goes up to the year 2000. In 1999, a 10 year series of quarters was started to honor each state. That means as of 1998, there will be no eagle reverse Washington quarters until the year 2009, if at all. In other words, If you want to keep your Washington quarter current, you WILL NEED one of Whitman's statehood quarter folders. If you want to wait until 2009 for an eagle reverse Washington quarter, then stick with this folder.
