J.B. Beverley,
This review is from: Watch America Roll By (Audio CD)
This is his follow up to "Dark Bar & A Jukebox" and he has delivered another really good album of real country music with that outlaw attitude. I don't think it is quite as good, but still very much worth having. One of the important things I like about these kind of artists is they write their own material and all songs on this album were written by J.B. Beverley. I can't stand artists like Elvis Presley or George Strait who can't write their own songs. As far as Country music goes the song "Don't Need No One" flat out rocks, definitely one of my favorites on here. Other standout tracks are "Favorite Waste Of Time" which might be my favorite song he has ever done - just a great slow country ballad, "Interstate Blues", "Watch America Roll By", and "Gonna Ride A Train". If you like guys like Wayne Hancock, Hank III, Dale Watson, Bob Wayne then you should love this.
