Be careful and it will work just fine.
J. Dean
The most important part of removing any links is that the band has to be perfectly lined up with the pin pusher.
W. Steward
A simple tool that's designed to do a simple job.

Great design except the 4.5mm grove for the watch bracelet was not wide enough for my invicta sub aqua noma III 5.5mm link thickness.

Nice product, anyone can use this without an instruction manual, which is the way mine came... You get two identical removal pins, in case you break one, you have a back-up. Worked really well to adjust a magnetic bracelet I own, but I did need to use a hammer to tap out the pin. Buy this product if you're prepared to use a hammer and a pair of pliers to work your pin out. This design is actually very similar to a commercial pin remover used in the early 1900.

I never write reviews, but seeing how the previous ones on this helped me decide to purchase this, I thought I'de leave one. This device is awesomely simple and efficient. I'm in love with Michael Kors watches, which have strap widths of 14 cm, and cannot fit into the other horizontal-laying link removal tools listed. I had bought one for my first MK, and it fixed it, but all the pins broke, with this tool, however, the pointy tool (i dont know what it's called) is sturdy and easily pushed the pins out with no more than 3 swift knocks of a hammer. There was a slight knick to one of the links, but that's because I let the pointy tool move. The trick is to guide it with your finger a bit as u knock the head. No, it won't hit your finger! But yeah, it made sense and I can use it again and again for any more watches that I buy (which annoyingly are already expensive enough).

This does work and it is great not to have to go to a jeweler to size a watch band. There are two link removing tools of the same size, and they are not long enough to be able to fully push the pin out of the link. So,one must find another longer, equally thin pin to hammer that last bit out of the link. Also, some type of hammering device is necessary such as a smallish hammer.

Much smaller in size than I thought it would be, but works perfectly. Just resized two brand new watches in less than five minutes. Promptly shipped and received in less time than anticipated.

Simple tool that does the job more than satisfactory. Recommended highly. Met expectations, and more. Sometimes retro things are better.

Got this to be ready for the replacement watch band I ordered. I used it to size the band I already had. Took me three minutes! Line up the band and pin pusher, tap, it's out. Done. 9/1-- If you are looking for a tool that you will use only sparingly, this fills the bill. Don't expect an inexpensive tool to stand up well if you need it every day. There are more expensive, higher quality, metal units.
