For 50 bucks, you can go wrong here. It's got 2 modes: video record and picture taking mode. I usually use video record and if I need a picture, a just freeze capture the frame of the video and transform it into a jpg image. It's better than switching back and forth the two modes when you are trying to inconspicuously spy on something.
One point to note: this watch camera is battery performance limited - the batteries will run out before you run out of memory space on the 4GB hard disk built inside the watch. I clear out my files every time I record anyway so 4GB is more than enough.
I was slightly worried with the flashing light on the FRONT of the watch when it records, but realized it switches into a power-saving mode and switches the light off after 5 seconds. If it were to flash continuously it would have made it obvious it wasn't a normal watch.
The image resolution is very high (1600x1200) but the exposure calibration isn't perfect. Do not expect it to come out like the images you take on a $400 digital camera!
Videos are in DVD(ish) quality - not the best especially in dark environments but it's absolutely amazing for a 50 buck camera masked inside a watch!
The files are in AVI and it plays without any problems on Windows Media Player. A 50 minute video is around 1.3GB of disk space.
Overall a great piece of surveillance equipment that is great for spying.

I've gone through serveral spy watches that I've got from ebay already and they've either never worked or stopped working in a few weeks. Thus, I am not spending big money anymore on one. Intsead, I figured I would look for a decent cheap one that will get me through my coursework. This one, which I got for $50 was a great deal. I read the reviews and found that most agreed that this was the best spy watch for the money, but not the best in quality. Good enough for my needs!
I've used it severeal times now and I really like it.

- the instructions manual makes it very clear on how to use it. There is a flow chart showing all the modes it switches into by pressing different buttons. It starts up in standby mode and there are 2 buttons: one takes a photo and the other starts a video recording.
- it doesn't look too flashy to start off a conversation to discuss what brand my watch is.
- In video mode, the light flashes to show what status it is in and disappears in 2 seconds. Very smart feature to hide the light

I must thank to whoever invented these spy watches. It's a great tool if you need to spy on someone without them knowing. The camera lens is barely visible and this watch camera looks just like a normal casio-like watch although it doesn't have any brands or logos marked on the body.
It's affordable at US$50 and works without any faults.
To connect to your PC, plug the cable into the USB port of the watch (YES - the watch has a port that's an inch deep!) and the other end to the USB port of your PC. It works just like any plug and play memory cards.
The built in battery lasts for an hour or so and unfortunately you can not interchange extra batteries... you have to take it home and recharge it again.
Doesn't work too well in the dark but in broad daylight it's a perfect video camera.
Even when I'm not in commission I wear this watch anyway. I sometimes forget it's a spy watch.
