Did not work when received - revised with explanation

Just received today. Watch does not work. None of the LEDS light when either button is pushed. May be a dead battery, I have no way of knowing and I will not open the back of a brand new item. Plus I have no jewelers tools to use to unscrew the battery retainer. I am 68 years old with bad eyesight. Impossible for me to do. I could take it somewhere but I would hate to spend that money and find out that is not the problem. I do not think the customer should have to do repair work on a new item before it will work. I will have to wait another month to receive another shipment so either way .. I lose! I have contacted seller and customer service. We will see how that goes.
Update .. 2 hours later .. heard back from seller .. they asked if I would change the battery. That's all they said.
Revised ... seller has offered to send a replacement watch. They showed high integrity and compassion and wanted to help the best way they could. Hopefully this will resolve my problem. I will review the replacement item when I receive it.
Received replacement watch in rapid time. It works perfectly. Looks amazing. I am very pleased with the watch. More than that I am amazed at the integrity and compassion this seller has shown to this customer. Way beyond what was expected! Thank you!
