Editorial Reviews

From the back cover

Have you ever been around a guitar player who seemed to know how to play almost every style of guitar music? Joe Carr decided that a video that would teach many different styles of music would be a lot of fun for a beginner. The neat thing about this video is that you can start anywhere in the video. If you want to start with blues, rock, gospel, folk, or country just watch the tape and find what is most interesting to you. It's that easy; just Watch and Play.

2.0 out of 5 stars I'd give 2.5 if I could., January 22, 2011

LOL! this was the first guitar video I ever bought back in 1995, when I was trying to teach myself guitar. I take "real" lessons now and after playing this video recently, I'd have to say Joe Carr's teaching is somewhat unclear. You can't even see everything he's playing. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner whose just starting. I think I lost interest in guitar because of these lessons.
