This is a great book like all Brian Freeman's books are, but if you already have In The Dark, this is the same book with a different title, distributed in the UK.

Loved the book the first time I read it. It was called In the Dark! Exact same book, different title. So if you've already read In the Dark, save your money! I wish I had my $8.00 back.

Lieutenant Jonathan Stride is back. This time he investigates a thirty-year-old murder which has haunted him since it happened, but something finally shifts in the story so the case is reopened. A reporter is in fact writing a book about it and, unbelievably, gets some new information and evidence that cannot be ignored.

"Someone" out there, however, is not happy. And as reluctant as Stride might be -as he was somewhat "involved" in the long-ago buried events- something must be done to track down a murderer and to finally find a sort of closure with his own past.

Compelling and sizzling with emotions with a final twist in the end. Well done to the author, 4.5 stars.

Brian Freeman is top of the line suspense has you sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time.

I read the book and could not put it down. Great storytelling with a bit of everything to keep you on the edge f your seat. Wish it was available on Kindle in South Africa....
