I absolutely love this cookbook. I was so happy to find delicious and healthy recipes for Fall. Sometimes it's hard with all the things everyone seems to be eating but with this book I don't feel deprived at all. For once everyone wants what I'm having.

Got this to find some good recipes but didn't really find anything really special or new in this book. It was ok, but deleted it after I downloaded it for free.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super Simple Recipes for the Diet Concious January 12, 2013
Amazon Verified Purchase
This book features some super simple, tasty recipes for the holiday season, or anytime, really. The mashed cauliflower is a great option to potatoes, I've prepared them riced before but never thought of having them mashed.

There are a variety of dishes from sides, to main and even desserts. I don't subscribe to the Weight Watcher diet, but my sister does, so I thought I'd have a look at it and see if there are any recipes she'd be interested in trying, too. A lot of the recipes can be adapted for some of the inventive creations in 50 Shades of Avocados: 50 Simple, Healthy & Delicious Avocado Recipes For Awesome Meals. A bonus since we both love avocado, often eating it with a spoon right out of it's rind.

My only disappointment in the book is suggested microwave usage in certain recipes, and instead of individual seasonings it will call for a prepared seasoning mix. I understand that adds to quick and easy cooking, but I prefer not to use microwave for preparing food (I only use it to reheat beverages), and like to avoid unnecessary additives in most prepackaged food items. But these things can easily be worked around.
