Okay i am an advid WW memeber been on WW since 2007 and i know for a fact that this item is not only free but also you do not, i repeat do not have to be a member to get this item all you have to do is be a visitor at the meeting, not join and get it. Dont let these other reviews fool you. DO NOT PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS FREE! WHETHER YOU GO TO MEETINGS OR NOT!!. IF YOU WANT THE ELECTRONIC ONE, YOU CAN ALSO JUST WALK INTO A WW FACILITY AND BUY ONE FOR 10 DOLLARS! As well any other products listed here. Dont let these greedy sellers get you for your hard earned money.

You do NOT have to be a member (or attend meetings) to purchase these items! Walk into any WW center, and look through all the wonderful tool they have available for you, whether you're a paid member or not. Don't be "had" by over-priced items here, or on eBay, or anywhere else.

Are you crazy? That item is free with all your materials at the first meeting.

People in other reviews have said this item is free. That is true, but this slider is for a program that is not the current program that weight watchers has anymore, so you cannot get this item from a meeting- therefore you must get it elsewhere if you care to do the old program. People say it is not applicable anymore because Weight Watchers changed their program. Many people had success on the old programs too. Someone said that the points are lower using the slider- but your daily points were lower too with the old program too so it doesn't work to mix the programs.

The points program has changed. recently joined and was told not to use the old calculator or old books as the points are too low and will cause you to eat more than your daily allotted points. went through some old stuff and it is true, the points were too low compared to the new system. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!

Yes, the price is definately high - check out ebay. However, they change the plan all of the time and some people have more luck with one plan over another. I just restarted the plan that I did in 2000 and had to find/buy a new slider for that plan (1-2-3 success plan) as I lost my old sliders. If something worked for you before and you know what you are doing, no need to pay to go to meetings that talk about a plan that you are not interested in doing. Just my thoughts.

I have this item, have had it for years. It is just a piece of cardboard and definitely not worth $17.50. I am sure the same information is available somewhere online. Please don't waste your money on this.

Weight Watchers has changed the points to PointsPlus, this slider is not applicable anymore, plus like the others have said, don't pay for something that is free.

of course it is free when you sign up. what if you do not need to go to the meetings and just want the calculator.

I was very pleased with this item, it was in mint condition. I am losing weigh, so I am very pleased. It came within days, so that was a plus.
