I love gross blister popping zombies. The beginning of the book really grabbed my attention and I could not put my kindle down, until I came to the end. An angry looking cloud comes through and anyone that's outside changes into something deadly. I could feel their pain filled screams, because the author did such a great job of describing each scene. I high recommend this book.

P.A. Douglas brings to the scene an apocalypse with a twist. An explosion from a nearby chemical plant turns humans into the walking dead. Kyle Tanner is trapped with a girl he is secretly in love with and a neighbor that is too smart for his own good. Along with a couple of other survivors, they have to engineer an escape, at the risk of being turned into the hideous creatures that pursue them.

Nothing is as it seems. How can the dead walk? Was the explosion an accident? What diabolical source is behind the possible destruction of the world?

I really enjoyed reading this, I finished it in one go,sore neck and all, and it was so enjoyable that it gets my highest mark, after reading the e-book, I will now buy the paperback so I can reread it and then place it on my bookcase,where I have limited space,so only the best get to make it there
