4.0 out of 5 stars Sam Fox shines once again !, June 22, 2004
This review is from: Watching You Watching Me (Audio CD)
This is a remixed and repacked album and a rerelase of 21 Century fox. This is pure and simple a summeralbum for all Sam Fox fans, also included is a multimedia CD you can play on youre Mac/PC. My to favourite tracks are Let me be Free and Santa Maria, which also you can see on the video. Sam Fox is the sexy girl next door you always dream of. This is pure and simple popmusic, and sounds like balsam in youre ears. Here tiny voice, fits perfect to the wonderful and easy listning music. Close your eyes when you listen to here, and she fill you with
pure joynees. Fox is perfect company when you feeling stressed.
She so relaxing. Music to sleep in too, and waken up too. Pure feminin music. The one critical point is that there not too much variation on the album. Give us a new rocker ala Hold on Thight,
on your next album Sammy !.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fox Fanatics Only, May 17, 2006
This review is from: Watching You Watching Me (Audio CD)
I really love Samantha Fox's music, so I was really excited to get my hands on this awesome two-disc set. CD one is where the music's at. The "remixes" by Ground Control are pretty heinous in production, as they're basically just added instrumentation over the album versions that first appeared on the stellar '21st Century Fox' album. I was really thrilled to be getting a remix of "Perhaps" (especially by one of the guys from Sleaze Sisters), but it's also kind of a let down... not as energetic as Sam's original version, or other Sleaze Sisters' mixes.

"Let Me Be Free" and "Santa Maria" are regular edits that had already been released, but they are fab, especially "Santa Maria"! It's such an energetic, fun song to dance around the living room to, you can't help but love it! The "Boundaries of Love" edit is nice, as it did seem a bit long-winded on its first release. "Do You Want Me" is in its original form, and still ultra-poptastic, cute and as simple as it was before. It's not ground-breaking in anyway, but it is a nice, unmudled track that sticks out in this set.

"Say What You Want" is also untouched and still as sexy as ever. Definitely not one to miss out on! "All Day and All Night" is the stand-out track for me. Sam works really well with acoustic instrumentation, and this song is really cool. For me, this song sells the disc by itself. Check it out if only for this tune. Very nice!

The last surprise here is the 1986 demo version of "Just A Dream." What a trip! Totally 80's cheese at its finest. The song definitely improved over the years, but it's interesting to hear its origins and where it all started from. Definitely a must-hear for the Sam fanatics out there!

Disc Two isn't anything to over the top and nothing you can't find on the "All Over The World" DVD - just the music videos for "Let Me Be Free," "Santa Maria" and some interview clips. Get the DVD instead, it's much more fulfulling!

So in conclusion, check this out for some rare tracks, and if you're a big time Samantha Fox fan. If you're just a casual listener, this may not be for you. Stay Foxy, all!
