"The Watchman" is an anointed, glorious collection of songs that will lift your spirit and strengthen your faith. The musicianship is superb, and Paul Wilbur's powerful voice touches the soul. Though recorded "live" at the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, the sound quality is excellent, and does not suffer from the usual concert recording fuzziness. Wilbur's songs are vibrant and joyous, with a Hebraic tradition to their melodic lines, and with a little reggae rhythm to track # 5, "Shout for Joy."

Paul Wilbur was classically trained, intending to have a career in opera, but the Lord had other plans for Paul's great vocal gift, and he is now known as the "World's leading exponent of Messianic music," and is founder of Wilbur Ministries. Paul Wilber takes his music, the Word, and his passion for the Lord to the far corners of the earth, and his music touches Christians, Jews, and non-believers, with its beautiful melodies and eloquence. "The Watchman" is a perfect CD to start a praise and prayer session, or for any occasion when you want to celebrate the love of the Lord with music. It is one of those rare CDs that one can put on in the morning, and listen to all day...day after day. Total playing time is 71'05

Just bought this brand new CD, and I love it already!
I have almost all of his CDs, and this one was a welcome addition. I can't pick a favorite song because I love them all!
Paul still has his incredible voice, and it's a pleasure to listen to. I recommend this to any Paul Wilbur fan, or fan of Messianic music.

Paul Wilbur's style of music and vocal brings me to a place to worship the Lord. When I listen and meditate on his music, it makes me feel like I am in Isreal praising Adonai. I also have Jerusalem Arise. I would recommend this CD to Wilbur Fans. Every CD he produces just keeps on getting better and better! This is defniatly Halleluiah music ;).

I love Messianic Worship. It is inspiring, and dynamic, and reminds us of how powerful songs are for delivering us from despair, depression, whatever the enemy has decided to hit us with. Just as David was able to soothe King Saul with his songs of the Lord playing his lyre, so too Paul Wilbur is able to get up stirred up and roused to worship the Lord, and praise Him for His mighty works! God loves to hear His children praise and worship Him. With each song we can fight the enemy, doing battle and bringing Glory to the Father.
I cannot get enough of the songs of Paul Wilbur. He made albums in the 90's with Integrity Music as well.

Awesome CD

I discover a new favorite song everytime I listen to this disc (ok, there are not that many songs, but you understand).

Buying CD's unheard is always daunting, but this one did not disappoint. The blowing of the Shofar on the first track stirs the soul and sounds the warning. The CD is a wonderful mix of Messianic, "reggae", and christian worship music. It will be hard for Paul Wilbur to top this one.

Paul Wilbur has opened our services with praise and worship and what an awesome experience. He is truly a worshipper from his heart and draws all of the congregation immediately into a place of God's anointing.

I own all of Paul Wilbur's CDs and each is better than the previous. His music is done with a full orchestra and is among the most beautiful I have ever heard. He has a beautiful voice and is well-known among messianic jews. Try his music if you enjoy deep, reverent Christian songs with a jewish flavor.

This is an excellent praise and worship CD and is very uplifting. Every time I listen to it, I feel like my burdens have been taken away.

For those who love Paul Wilbur, this is a wonderful blend of new and old songs. For those who have never heard of Paul Wilbur and his Messianic style of worship music, this is a wonderful album for someone to be introduced to Paul Wilbur's music. The overall theme of this album is a great introduction to Messianic Hebrew Christian style of music. This album touches me down deeply. This album also brings a great sense of joy.
I love to sing along with it.
