The button is a larger 2.25 inch replica of the button worn by Eddie Blake in The Watchmen. The Comedians Badge is a great item for fans and collectors. It is unknown how the Comedian (Eddie Blake) first acquired the badge. The more familiar smiley badge became a part of the Comedian's uniform at least prior to 1971, when he wore it at the V.V.N. Day celebrations that marked the end of the Vietnam War. He wore it consistently from that time until 1985. In 1985, Blake was wearing the badge on his dressing gown when he was attacked in his apartment.

The product was fine but I will not do business with this vendor again! I understand upcharging the shipping to recuperate some of the costs, but $6 on a button? Through standard USPS mail? That is just excessive.

The pin is ok but the image is blurry and poorly placed. The face is not in the middle of the pin, it is inclined to the left side. I was expecting more quality.
