Great figure w/ great articulation. Too much emphasis must have been put onto the clothes witch seem very realistic until you try to take them off. Just a pain until you get to the shoes! Ya might wanna make a shoe horn before you try or take the laces out entirely or cut the shoes off cause otherwise you might break off a foot like I did. I am a toy customizer etc. so that may have helped as I was able to rebuild the connecting peg and with some heating of plastic and brute force return it to a workable state. I would understand the clothes being so hard to remove except that this character spends most of his time in the nude! In fact I wanted him mostly as he is in Giant form when compared to my 6" etc. figures and in the comic/movie he is only in his underwear at those times.

Definitely an amazing action figure, the articulation is great and details are very well done. However, I had the same issue with the shoes as the previous reviewer--the foot broke in trying to take them off. They are very, very solid plastic and if you're not going to put clothes back on him you might as well cut off the shoes unless you want the same fate for Mr. Manhattan's poor ankle. Bit of glue and everything's dandy. Ah well. :D

There is a way around the shoe problem. Although it sounds crazy, it works. If you heat the plastic, you can get the shoes on and off very easily WITHOUT even having to untie them. Use a hair dryer, BUT do not overheat them to the point of warping them permanently. Just a little warmth will make them go on and off fine. The same trick works with changing the hands too. I don't even have a hair dryer so what I did to heat the plastic was lay the doll on top of my cablebox for ten minutes and the warmth of that was enough to soften the shoes so I could remove them -- so you can see they do not have to be heated much at all. As soon as they cool down, they are as stiff as they were when you first got it. Hope this helps someone.I love this guy! I even made socks for mine and printed the polaroid of him and his girlfriend before the accident and put it in his hand. :-) Now if I could just find a paint or something that will make him glow......!
