Since I really like this Dr. Manhattan figurine, I thought I'd type a mini-review of it, though there's not much to tell. The craftsmanship, detail and painting are very well done. What is not mentioned is it comes with two sets of legs, one for standing him up without a stand, the other for use with the stand (which barely fits the base, by the way). I believe this figurine of Dr. Manhattan best represents his appearance in the Watchman movie moreso than the luminescent figurine, which seems cheaply made and less detailed. The attempt at producing a glowing affect on the other figurine is poorly conveyed as it just makes it seem like a cheaper product. For that reason, I don't understand why it costs more than this superior version, in my humble opinion. I also love the fact that this version is cheaper in price than all of the Watchmen figures, which is puzzling since Dr. Manhattan is arguably the most central character and best hero in the comic book and the movie.

My boyfriend loves comics. He loves Watchmen, so I purchased most of the character figures for him to display in our house.
These looks great, and come with a stand and scene- however, as nice as they look, they fall over regularly. Not that big of a deal, but there's been countless times when we've arrived home to find one (or none) still standing tall. It seems like the weight of the figures might be a little too much for what was provided.

Awesome collectors item, the figure looks a whole lot more dynamic then in the display image! I can now say that I am proud to own such an amazing action figure, the attention to detail is stunning and the paint is beautifully applied! I highly recommend this item to a more mature group of individuals do to its prestige value as a display piece and not a child's toy. I am delighted and pleased with my Dr. Manhattan figure!

Seven-inch figure has limited articulation -- WYSIWYG, basically. Limited head movement, stiff shoulder joints, elbows and knees (second set of legs has no articulation at all). So, what were you expecting? Doc Manhattan doesn't HAVE to exert himself, so articulation is redundant. I've noticed some complaints about his color, which is roughly Columbia Blue -- his opaque, "dimmed out" hue. But there IS a surprise for those who care to experiment... Expose this dullish blue Doc Manhattan to ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT, and VOILA... He luminesces the proper neon blue! If you've a talent for ultraviolet displays, this Doc M will fit right in and luminesce his ass off for you. Lotta collectors of plastic figures dating back to the 1950s know that different plastic compounds provide different levels of UV reaction, and some manufacturers have taken advantage of this fact. Apparently, this Doc Manhattan was more carefully planned than we thought. But Doc M is SUPPOSED to be full of surprises.

Cool Figure, I'm a collector. I hated taking this out of the package, but there was no point in leaving it in the package since the Window was scratched and dented, the back of the card where it says "watchmen" was bent over the top of the box and it was almost ripped off completely due to seller stuffing in too small of a box, the box itself was dented all the way down one side and the corners were crushed, there was an extra bar code sticker on the bottom along with a yellow sticker, there are scratches all over the box as well.

other than all that this figure would've been awesome for my collection but I have one to display out of the box I guess. I'll probably just get another, I don't have the classic Nite Owl and I know a seller on here that ships the figures to where there's no way anything could go wrong. the two I got from the seller were in perfect condition.

The detail, paint and craftsmanship as said in other reviews is very good as are all Collectible figures. This one will be a cool one and worth getting another I think. The Watchmen action figure packages are pretty sweet, just be careful handling them. these figures really aren't for playing with I don't think, not for children 10 or younger, but to each his own. I highly recommend this figure for any collector, I have 2 other as said earlier and they look really sweet and will soon have 4, maybe 5. depends. and yes this figure does come with two sets of legs, both of which can be used on the base, you can probably find more pictures online somewhere.

I remember the Watchmen comics when I was in highschool so it was nostalgic for me to get the collection more than anything, It is a good series and well sculpted and painted.

The rub is, I ordered six action figures from Amazon that shipped in five boxes, it cost almost as much ship as the toys did. Three of them arrived in semi-crushed boxes shipped through USPS(product was ok) and one was shipped in a soft mailer USPS(it arrived in one piece thankfully) the box shipped via UPS (brown) was the only one I felt was properly packaged and recieved in an acceptable manner. Products great. Shipping needs to be improved.

Looks just like the character from the movie, and is very well made in his "creation" pose!

The toy is based on the movie character, but it's greatly sculpted. Looks like the comic.
