This review is from: 300 Water Bomb Balloons w/ Hose Filler Attachments (Toy)
The balloons are fine. They are about the size of a large orange when filled, so even little kids can handle them. If you don't score a direct hit, they will frequently roll off of your victim and them pop on the ground, but I think that's common for water balloons. We only had 1 defective balloon out of ~100 that we filled.
The included filler nozzle is essential because the mouth of the balloon is too small for a regular faucet. It is threaded similar to a garden hose, but not exactly. I had to wrap several layers of plumber's tape (an inexpensive item) around the garden faucet to get the filler to stay on. And even then, it popped off frequently. The filler makes filling the balloons easy, so it's worth finding a way to rig it to your faucet. Shame that it doesn't have more standard threading. NOTE: Filling 100 or so balloons takes a long time. We had one person operating the water (on and off) and two tying the balloons. If you want to stack the filled balloons in a bucket, pour water in the bucket first. That keeps the balloons from squishing and popping each other. |
