Important and Informative,
This review is from: Water Crisis (Hardcover)
Julie Stauffer's The Water Crisis provides well-rounded and contemporary insight into the disposable mentality surrounding water. A perfect read for those looking to become familiar with the effects of urbanization on water pollution levels, as well as for anyone opting to take responsibility for their involvement in this issue. The Water Crisis offers an accessible introduction, and goes on to explain not only the problems, but also solutions and preventative actions available today. While Stauffer's findings and analysis are at times alarming, the overall nature of the book is of an optimistic tone, allowing her analysis of case studies to encourage readers to think and act proactively. I enjoyed this easy, yet incredibly informative read, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wake up call to the modern water crisis.
