Now you can save money on expensive salon visits - and have the volume, body and curls you want to look great! Simply treat the rollers in boiling water for ten minutes, drain and roll them into your hair - 5 minutes later, remove the rollers and your hair is done!
What is a Hot Water Curler, you ask? Well, it is a plastic cylindrically shaped curler that contains a gel within the curler. The gel holds the heat and holds the secret of its success.
There are two ways one can use the Hot Water Curlers. Place the curlers in a pot of boiling water and let boil for 3-4 minutes and then carefully remove the curlers, shaking off excess moisture and set your hair OR the alternate method, which is the one I have found to be successful for me, is to to cover the curlers with water in a microwaveable plastic tray or bowl, microwave for approximately 3-4 minutes, depending upon your microwave heat intensity. (Note: Whatever method you choose, do not boil the clamps that come with the curlers). Drain the water, shake off the excess moisture and curl your sectioned hair.
We recommend the Hot Water Curlers because it is a fast, easy way to curl your hair and the style can last a few days, eliminating the need for daily use. Because the heat comes from within the gel infused curler, we believe that it does a more effective job of curling than electric rollers which cool quickly in comparison to the Hot Water Curlers. We find that it works well on all types of hair including permed hair, Afro American hair and fine to medium hair, short to shoulder length.
