4.0 out of 5 stars good for the advanced pilot, October 28, 2011

This review is from: Water Flying Concepts: An Advanced Text on Wilderness Water Flying (ASA Training Manuals) (Paperback)
Great book, good input on technical skills, if you are a back country pilot wanting a more technical explanation regarding commonly mis understood attributes of your plane, this might be a good read. I enjoyed it and will retain it for a reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great floatplane text!, January 26, 2011

Dr. Dale DeRemer does an excellent job of explaining the dynamics of operating a float/sea plane in this book. It's written in clear, concise language and is easy to follow. It may be a bit technical for a casual reader, but for those interested in learning to fly a floatplane or are just keeping up with their floatplane knowledge, it's a perfect book to add to your aviation-themed library. There are tons of pictures illustrating what he's writing about as well. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in floatplanes.
