The pictures and ideas are very nice but I was disappointed that there were no instructions on how to create or install the water features shown in the book.

i love this idea book!! the pictures are so beautiful the information good i love looking through it!

Each section has many pictures. Each picture covers a single idea. ex. A small dock extends 5 ft over the water of a tiny pond, lily pads below give an idea of the scale, too small for a canoe but the little dock offers a spot to sit and many subtle dimensions to the area. Inside where a fireplace would be the wall has a curved horizon edge fountain with a clean water trough of river stones at floor level. From simple basins to flowing streams, dry streams, indoor & out door, table top to watercourses each picture conveys a solid idea. List $19.95 so getting a good used will save $. Best to look thru @ booksellers to make sure it has what you are looking for. Very useful and good pix.

Like all Taunton publications I have seen, it has good pictures. Inspires one to quit reading and get outside and do something,

I love water gardens, always have. I have only had small gardens, as I don't have large areas to put them. This book gave me ideas to turn big gardens into small gardens. Beautiful pictures. Makes you calm to just look at the pictures.
