I always wanted a small water pond or pool for Koi and water plants. I thought it would be difficult to do myself. Who understands the chemical properties of water...is there enough oxygen or too much nitrogen? Helen Nash has put together a perfect guide in Water Gardening Basics! Whether it's a small or even a large system, this provides the basic understanding about the degree of difficulty involved. And with photos to illustrate suggestions, it is exactly what I needed to make my small pond with a miniature waterfall beneath the weigalia and cypress papyrus.
