Second book by Tim Baker, and it is just as good as his first! I found myself not wanting to put it down to do anything. The characters are so well written you believe it is really happening!! I am a FAN!~ Can't wait for the next one!

A High-Powered Political Suspense Thriller,
By
This review is from: Water Hazard (Kindle Edition)
The owner of a music store in unassuming Flagler Beach, Florida, Steve Warwick thinks nothing of it when he buys a collection of used CDs from the teen duo of Justin and Russell; however, shortly thereafter, Justin suddenly goes missing, and his mother reaches out to Steve in a desperate plea to help determine her son's whereabouts. So, Steve teams up with his best friend Ike - who just happens to be an ex-Navy SEAL - but little do they know, the two would-be rescuers will soon find themselves caught up in a twisted web of corruption, greed, and death from which it may ultimately prove impossible to escape - even for men of their particular "skill sets"...
With a compelling cast of characters and a well-crafted central storyline, Water Hazard is a highly enjoyable read. In the follow up effort to his debut novel, Living The Dream, author Tim Baker further solidifies his status as quite the talented storyteller, adding "political suspense thriller" to his growing repertoire. Formidable though they may be, Steve and Ike are hardly prepared for the whirlwind of corruption and political espionage that threatens to crush their noble efforts to spare the life of young Justin, and the learning curve only gets shorter the longer they keep up the fight; however, neither of the men is a stranger to combat, and they soon find that their skills at bending the rules - to the point of nearly breaking them - actually come in quite handy for what ultimately proves to be the fight of their lives. Rife with nonstop action and riveting suspense, Water Hazard is an entertaining mystery thriller. Be on the lookout for more from this standout new literary talent. Josee Morgan Apex Reviews
