I ordered this little book in spite of the other review to see if it had any information I didn't have yet. This book is chock full good information, much of which I didn't already know. I live in California and we're in a severe drought but I'm trying to be as self sufficient as I can by growing my own fruits and vegetables. I love this little book and will use it often. And yes, it does talk about peeing in a bucket which probably sounds pretty weird if you haven't encountered the subject before. If you want a dynamite organic fertilizer, pee in a bucket. Healthy urine is sterile, so just dilute it with plenty water and pour it on the roots of your plants. People have been doing this for years, you just don't hear much about it in polite conversation. Who would want to admit to THAT! But the plants love it and it's good for them. Get yourself the book -- it's only a few dollars and is worth a mint.

For the nitrogen. Ew. Also, that would not work. You would just burn holes in your yard. But primarily, Ew.

There are some tips that look pretty reasonable, but the credibility of this pamphlet is undermined by this suggestion alone.
