I have some of those spa bath type books that people have given me (I love a good bath) but this one stands out head and shoulders above the rest. I think its because it not only has GREAT recipes for different baths but also meditations and afiramations. The recipes are broken out into the following sections:
Emotional soothing baths (5)
Homeopathic baths (5)
Healing Baths (10)
Metaphysical baths (5)
Beauty baths (11)
Pleasure and Sexualiy baths (7)
Crystal baths (5)

Each section has an overview, meditations/story, shopping list. Excellent variety and great writing throughout!

This book gives you wonderful healing and restorative recipes for a large number of purposes. It resides on the bathroom counter at my house and is used often for absolutely delightful bathing experiences.

The Chinese Ginger Bath is a must-have recipe for those with flu or viral symptoms! The Yogi's Aura Cleansing Bath feels great and truly does the uplifting she describes. Fun titles of each section and bathing experience make for a good read too.

This is a great gift book to yourself or someone you love.

I found Water Magic to not only be an extremely interesting book to read, but the baths author Mary Muryn recommends do work. The baths are also easy to follow and to prepare. Whether it is to relieve stress, cure an infection or release negative energy, I would heartily recommend this book to readers looking for a natural way to deal with problems.

I friend of mine introduced me to this book for several reasons (love going to spas, love bath & bath products, and my quest to help a friend that is suffering from chronic pain). I glanced through the easy to find index and "shopping lists" and fell in love with the idea of water therapy & making such recipes at home. I purchased the book the same day and was delighted to have my very own copy that I will use & reference in the days and years ahead. The author appears to be very well educated on the subject, yet makes the content flow in a simpler fashion than what I expected. A must read and "experience" type of book!

As owner of GiftsfortheSoul.com, I am always looking for inspiration on blending differnt essential oils for various aliments. I can across this book and could not put it down. The author is a wonderful writter and I am sure, a gifted healer. The way she weaves in her own life stories with the various bath recipes is really wonderful. The recipes themselves are unlike any I have come across. They are quite unique and very special. This book is also very spiritual and allows you see things in a different light.

I can only say good things about this book. I own a shop that sells bath and aromatherapy products and I display this book on my shelves.

I recommend this title to customers, because it provides complex information in a simple and basic way. The author clearly knows her "stuff". She includes information on essential oils, flower essences, salts etc.. The book provides step by step "recipes" an instructions for many bath rituals.

This is a must have for anyone who has any interest in natural healing, hydrotherapy or bath rituals.

This book IS magic. Not only is it wonderful reading, the actual 'doing' is the magic part. Even if you do not believe in the power of baths and potions and the properties of crystals (I do), just the ritual of preparing for the bath and enhaling the smells and watching the candles provoke a stress releasing and pampering atmosphere which we all deserve. ENJOY!

I felt this book to be very helpful, it was well written, very informative and I loved the fact that she gave you the names of places to purchase any items you may need to perform these baths. An all around great book!

I purchased this book about 6 years ago and have used it quite often. The bath recipes are wonderful. Whether you bathe alone or with a partner, you'll find the perfect bath for what your soul is craving.
