DON'T BE DECEIVED Doesn't run on water, not Eco Friendly,
This review is from: Water Powered Clock Round, Blue (Kitchen)
The claim that this product is environmentally friendly is rubbish. Its powered by a battery, it just happens to be a copper-zinc battery which uses water as a conductor. After a year or so the zinc strip completely corrodes away leaving you with a piece of plastic which doesn't work and you can't replace the batteries so you have to bin it. Not so environmentally friendly now is it?!
Having said that it works well as a clock for a while and it looks quite funky.

Cool, but cheap,

Considering the $20 MSRP of this clock, the designers didn't think through the design all the way. My clock is missing a few segments brand new out of the box. After taking it apart I realized that the clock itself is not water proof/resistant at all and it appears that some water leaked into the clock while I was filling it and damaged part of the digits. It's amazing that for $20 they couldn't afford to put a half cent rubber gasket around the edge of the clock to prevent water from doing this.
I recommend anyone who buys this to not fill this under a sink, try a water bottle or something so that you can better control the water. Edit: Now the clock only seems to work for about a day at a time before it starts to get very dim and shut off at which point I have to shake it to get it to come back but by then the clock is several hours off making it essentially worthless as a clock. I've tried changing the lemon/water mix several times now and get the same results.

Save Your Money, Do Not Buy, No Warranty from Bedol,

I received the clock at the end of August. The right hand segments of the minutes display stopped working recently, 8:08 looks like 8:0E.
Although this clock is water-powered you need to add a small amount of a weak acid like lemon juice or vinegar. However, the electronic/display bezel is not water proof. I suspect that some water got into the display, the electronics and display are not sealed. I called Bedol but they don't warranty the clock for problems like this. 2115|R202MTCM23XG3W;2115|RIHT7MF83F3LA;2115|R34OC5H8Q6EXU5;
