5.0 out of 5 stars Field recordings, quiet droning synthesizers and jarring juxtapositions, May 19, 2007
This review is from: Water Seeks Its Own Level (Audio CD)
"Water Seeks It's Own Level" by Illusion Of Safety (IOS) incorporates field recordings, quiet droning synthesizers and jarring juxtapositions. I feel this album is very strong and controlled and is typical of IOS. If you like industrial noise or surprising ambient music, then this is a good bet. If this review sounds ambiguous, it is only because it is hard for me to describe IOS. I only wish I could compare IOS to some other artists, but as of yet, I have not discovered anyone who comes close to sounding like IOS. I recommend checking out IOS Bad Karma because Amazon has some samples you can listen to.
