I had seen a couple of doggie water bottles online before a recent trip to Cannon Beach, OR but, did not buy one. While in CB, we discovered Puppy Love, an amazing store for dogs and their owners. I bought this bottle there and absolutely love it! Mine is more like 12-14 oz, not 8. It is great for walks, on the beach and in the car. You fill the bottle, hold it horizontally and open the flap. Pour as much water into the bowl as you want, let the dog drink away. (Mine is Cookie, a 7 month old black cocker spaniel.) When done, gently tip the bottle up and any remaining water goes back in the bottle. No muss, no fuss. They say it clips on your belt or waistband but, I have not tried that yet. I may attach a strap so I can just throw it on my shoulder. Of all the doggie water bottles I have seen, this is the best!

The size is perfect, especially for small dogs. But cap is difficult to get a good fit and you then have leaking if the bottle isn't store upright. The actual design is great, just needs to have some attention to the sealing design.

Nice product.Perfect for small dog. Take along on a walk, car etc. Water stays in container then pull plug and drain into bowl. When done pour back into the container.
