This is a very basic and powerful squirt gun.
There is no priming or pumping required, it's ready to go instantly if you have a water source nearby.

It doesn't have a water tank, you just dunk it in the river or a bucket and it draws in a full load of water as you pull the handle back, then it launches it out the opening in the front with as much force as you push on it. If you push lightly it won't go very far, but if you crank on it, it easily shoots 50 feet in a controlled stream of water that pretty much blasts anything or anyone caught in the path. Reload time is about 2-3 seconds.

Note: Don't suck in rocks or sand or you can clog up the piston inside making it push hard.

I tried the double barrel version, it looks neat and puts out 2x the water but it also pushes twice as hard so the single tube shoots farther and easier.

I recommend the single tube 24" version which is actually 22.5" overall with a 17" barrel.

I have 3 of these and I think a 27" model would be perfect, but they don't make that size. The 24" (really a 17" barrel) seems a bit short and the 36" can be unhandy since it's rather long.

The fit between the internal plunger and the barrel seems good on most samples which provides smooth operation but one I bought doesn't fit too good so it requires more pushing to overcome internal friction. They could do better in this regard but most seem ok.

So, keep the sand out and this watergun should blow away the competition for quite some time.

Actually bought the water launcher to scare the neighbors cats away from our many bird feeders; this thing really works and it does it without harming the animals. We needed something that would go over 50 ft and this toy does the job.

Loved the performance but all three of our guns became useless after just one month. The outer housing broke. For a while I tied it with duct tape but it didnt work well. The durability is awful.

Have had this for several years, bought originally to keep squirrels off a bird feeder. Nothing keeps squirrels off bird feeders, so I use it now to have fun in our pool. It's a GREAT pool toy because you've got a limitless supply of ammo handy. My daughter and I spend hours chasing and shooting each other... it's a blast!

The thing's been very reliable, is built to last if you're not clubbing someone with it, and again, many years old it still works like new. Simple but effective. The educational rating basically comes from teaching tactical maneuvers in a pool using a water cannon. That's educational, right?

This thing has made me a water war enthusiast. Far superior to a super soaker. It's amazing how badly you can soak someone- and from a great distance. And getting hit with it myself? I laugh until I cry. Absolutely hilarious! I have several!! Have fun!!

I purchased two of these water launchers for a recent kayaking trip. They worked great when there is no shortage of available water for refilling. The barrel can be emptied in one giant blast which travels 30 feet easily. At closer ranges, like 10 feet or less, your targets will howl for mercy!

We've been invaded by dirty pigeons. I wanted the 24" Stream Machine, which "shoots up to seventy feet," to scare them away and thereby condition them to the fact that our yard was NOT the place to be. Unfortunately, I found the max range to be under 25 feet. By the time I got that close, the pigeons just calmly moved off a slight distance and returned immediately. I complained and was told the restocking fee would amount to 50%, plus return shipping, c. $18.00, BUT since it was used (in testing) I could no longer return it. However, the distributor contacted the manufacturer who promised (and did in fact) to send another one. Unfortunately, it shoots exactly the same as the first. Good for 10-foot water fight games. They are quite well made, for plastic toys, but I'm too old for water fights. Anyone need two of these?

I got this gun to keep my chickens off of my porch. It has worked quite well, and is fun too. I don't know if it meets it's claims to shoot 70' or not, but it is fun nonetheless.

ultimate water warrior weapon, i used it to de-ice my car door from the window of my kitchen, the range of this device is more like 35 feet but if you install a smaller nozzle you can get farther than that. I liked it how the end cap is threaded and can unscrew it.

I bought 2 of these last summer and they work great. Very simple design. You have to pump water into them every time but you should have kown that before you bought it :D Will shoot a good 35'. Beware if you have small children. If you shoot this close, at somebodys face for instance, it will hurt. Also a great pool toy.
