I have been researching and writing about water for over 40 years, and have owned and operated a state-certified water testing laboratory for 14 years. As a result, I have over 600 water books in my private library. Therefore, when I see a quick-study book float to the surface - such as this one - I hope for the best. This book offers practical information, albeit relatively superficial. I believe that the layperson will also find it useful to read "The Drinking Water Book" (Second Edition) by Colin Ingram, which offers excellent, up-to-date information about our drinking water.

Great Knowledge One Drop at a Time,

This book is just as important as the "Emotional Intelligence" book by Daniel Goleman. It helps the reader understand the major ingredient of our body, water, and why it should also be the main ingredient of what we take in. While Goleman discusses the wholesome meanings behind the consanguineous electrical synapses of neurons, Steve Meyerowitz reveals how water is used by the body, the hydroelectric generator, to power our brains.
Most important realization one comes away reading this book is: I did not know I was thirsty--of water, and of knowledge.

Everyone should read this book,
This review is from: Water the Ultimate Cure (Paperback)
This is excellent book about water and why water it is important to our health. This book also talks about various filters (pros and cons). Also, it tells you which form of bottled water is not so good and which one is the best. Water is important because it seems that people are chronically water deprived. The book even goes over types of water purification units.

For the last 15 years, I have expended a large amount of personal time searching for the healthiest foods on our planet and the best form of water to drink.
I have switched from spring to reverse osmosis to distilled to structured and have always been undecided about ionizing water. The chapter on "The Importance of Water on Human Health" is worth everyone's time to read. From when to drink to how much to how much is too much water, this topic is a good nudge for all who have forgotten the simple necessity of drinking enough water and the right water. For readers who seriously are considering which form of water they believe will benefit them most fully, this book is certainly worth the time reading. With my doctorate in Naturopathy, I can tell you the opinions are myriad as to which water is the most beneficial water to drink. I also appreciated Mr Meyerowitz's brevity and keeping his book a quick read for everyone.

Not the best,

Here's the summary: drink a lot of clean water.
The first half goes into details about why, and it's good to motivate you to drink more water, but that's about it. The second half is about water filters and bottled water and so forth. If you want information on how to get clean water, there's a much better book: The Drinking Water Book: How to Eliminate the Most Harmful Toxins from Your Water. It was much more valuable to me in selecting a water filter.

My eyes were really opened to the problem of dehydration. I thuroughly enjoyed Steve's straight forward writing. I have always heard to drink a lot of water everyday, but I never knew why. Now I know exactly why. How enjoyable it is to read truth presented in a way that tells me that the writer believes what he's writing about with all his heart. I am telling everyone to drink their water, and to read this book, too! Thank you, Steve, for caring enough to share such valuable information

This review is from: Water: The Ultimate Cure : Discover Why Water Is the Most Important Ingredient in Your Diet and Find Out Which Water Is Right for You (Kindle Edition)
This is a quick study on water, covering the basics to help improve your health, but it's min focus is on the quality of our water and what we can do to improve it. I found the information on different types of filtration, the types of water containers and distilled versus spring water controversy to be very useful. After reading this book, it'll make you think twice about where you get your next drink of water and if you should filter your showers as well. Good info for all to know.

The best book I have read on drinking water,
This review is from: Water the Ultimate Cure (Paperback)
How Much to Drink? According to Steve MeyerowitzThe average adult should drink from 2-3 ½ quarts (liters) of high quality, pure water daily. One possible way to break it up is 1. Drink half a liter in the morning before breakfast. This is great flush of your intestines and helps prepare the stomach for food and avoids constipation. 2. Drink half a liter 3 hours after breakfast 3. Take another half liter 20 minutes before lunch. 4. Drink half a liter 3 hours after lunch 5. Take another half liter 20 minutes before dinner Despite taking those notes from Steve's book I still failed to lose weight. In retrospect the reason has to do with something that I have read in Zig Ziglar's Secrets of closing the sale: We speak to ourselves some 4.800 words every 24 hours. And yet 3.200 are about ourselves in a negative way. This makes us not to pay attention to key details. In my case I forgot all what Steve says with regards the coffee or clean diet. However I did memorize 3 things i.e. 1. To carry water with me at all times 2. To think that if I am thirsty I mean I am dehydrated 3. To know that I have to drink 3 litres of water a day Out of ignorance I also missed what Steve says above i.e. drink the purest possible water. I went on and on to buy stilled water in Italy but until 2010 I did not understand what pure water was. Therefore I kept myself content with research via the following website.
