5.0 out of 5 stars Works like A Dream. Heavenly.
The misting feature is awesome. It releases a large quantity of strong but gentle mist in a U shaped pattern. When you turn off the mist, you can use all the other functions. My favorite is turbo massage. The massage isn't as strong as my old Waterpik, but it's good enough. There is a plastic flow restrictor, but it's easy to remove. Unlike other waterpiks I've seen, this...

2.0 out of 5 stars broke almost immediately
After two showers the "misting knob" on the left broke and now only clicks when we try to use it. The knob on the right still works fine and so that's ok if you want to switch between a pulsating flow and a steady flow...but the misting feature is why I really bought it.

This review is from: WaterPik MST-751 Misting Shower Massage 7-Setting Hand-Held White Showerhead (Tools & Hardware)
Unlike other waterpiks I've seen, this shower head lets you remove the turbine so you can clean it with a brush. Finally! These waterpiks have to be kept clean otherwise they just dribble. If they're clean, they work fantastic! (My old waterpik was sealed shut and I think it was destroyed because I soaked it in lime-away, which I guess must've damaged some parts.) I think this shower head is the king of shower heads. I can't imagine a better one. Taking a shower with it is a luxurious, heavenly treat. It's also fun to play with the different settings. I like to use a hot mist while I'm shaving and the turbo massage for everything else. This shower head really makes you feel good. I bought a waterpik again because I liked my old one and I didn't want to gamble on a different brand and end up wasting $50 on junk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best shower head yet, November 25, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: WaterPik MST-751 Misting Shower Massage 7-Setting Hand-Held White Showerhead (Tools & Hardware)
I bought this to replace an older version of their misting showerhead which had gotten clogged over several years of use. Getting up in the morning is much easier when you have a great shower to look forward to and this showerhead does not disappoint. Sure there are other shower heads out there with seven settings (or more) but the mist setting is the clincher for me. The droplets are so small that it is gentle no matter how high you turn the shower up. I like hot showers and when I turn on the mist the whole bathroom fills with fog (good thing, in my mind at least). I generally use it to clean my face after finishing the rest of my shower because it opens up your pores and really cleans your skin nicely.
I know this is silly but the other nice thing about it is that it is great for cleaning the shower because it is basically high pressure steam. I am not saying you should stop using disinfectant but it will strip the soap scum right off the wall and make short work of mild mildew.

2.0 out of 5 stars Older model better, March 3, 2006
This review is from: WaterPik MST-751 Misting Shower Massage 7-Setting Hand-Held White Showerhead (Tools & Hardware)
The older model has a showerhead which allows a 360 degree rotation to adjust height/ angle. This model does not, and is poor for shorter individuals. The powersaver filter reducesless mist and strength of the massage. The hand-held cord is bulky and gets in the way...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not thrilled, October 25, 2005

This shower head is ok, but not something I'd buy again. During installation, the connector on the hose cracked. We had to contact Waterpik to obtain a replacement hose. That took a couple of weeks. Once we got it installed, it operates ok. I'm not sure yet whether we'll leave it in or just go back to our old 'standard' spray head. The volume of water throughput had much better force on the old one.

This worked for a wonderful four years before the misting knob broke and now it mists slightly on every setting. Still, four years (not to mention 3 moves) seems like a good life-span for a shower head like this. I would buy another one if it was available.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Shower Head, October 27, 2007

The Waterpik MST-751 is a great product. Offers various powerful spray options along with an awesome misting feature. Highly recommend this product. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the hose. I'm still waiting for it to straighten out completely; it's still slightly curved from being coiled up in the package.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea but Need a New Version, February 17, 2007
This review is from: WaterPik MST-751 Misting Shower Massage 7-Setting Hand-Held White Showerhead (Tools & Hardware)
We tried out this misting shower massage when our previous Water Pik began leaking and became unusable. The one shown here has a solid neck, but our version had a twisty neck which was great for pointing at the level you wanted. My boyfriend loved the mist option to create a steam bath. I myself prefer the stronger stream, and the unit did nicely here, too.

Unfortunately, just as our WaterPik began leaking and therefore non-functional in our low pressure pipe household, this one too began leaking almost immediately. It's not like we have high water pressure which "blows out the seals" or anything like that. Quite the opposite. We have gentle, low pressure which normally wouldn't cause any problem for a shower head. Also, no matter what setting we used, right from the start, water would leak out of other holes too, meaning we could never get a decent pressure on it.

We moved on to a new unit.
