5.0 out of 5 stars The Bomb!
This is simply the best showerhead we have ever had. It is a snap to install and changing the settings is smooth and easy. There is a flow setting for every need. You get a wonderful shower with no "missing" spots in the water delivery.Having the ability to remove the shower head from the holder makes cleaning the shower a breeze now. 3.0 out of 5 stars have a huge gripe...
This shower head delivers on all its promises of powerful sprays and water pressure sensing. However, the design of the joint doesn't allow the shower head to be pointed downward. Actually, it mostly sprays the wall. I had to rig mine with a hair clip so that it will spray directly onto me without the head falling out of the bracket (I am only 5'2''). If you are short...

If you are short or don't like to hold the shower head in your hand for the duration of your shower, I would not recommend this product.

I have to agree that this is really difficult to hang on to & direct. I am not a small person. I do have arthritis, but that doesn't seem to be the problem here, it's the design of the handle, and the chrome doesn't help. The unit works fine but that is definitely a minus and I would not recommend the model because of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality Product, October 6, 2006

An excellent quality product. Very easy to install--no tools required--about five minutes to install. Fine shiny chrome appearance. Although it is made of plastic it looks like it is a real metal chrome fixture. Performs as described and much better than my expectations. Removable pressure valve is an important plus. Don't know how I lived without it. Much higher quality than some other brands that I have owned. A real bargain for the price.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment!, January 14, 2005

What a disappointment! I brought this shower head, thinking it would be great for my husband, who only has the use of one hand. Two showers later, the head became loose, and when we tried to screw it back on, we discovered something inside was broken...no problem..so, like the smart ones that we are, we purchased a second one....This one did the exact same thing, and now we have decided let everyone know this is a badly constructed item...No more for us...onward to a better made product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Packaging, March 5, 2006
This review is from: WaterPik NVG-653C Grace Shower Massage 6-Setting Hand-Held Chrome Showerhead (Tools & Hardware)
I like the 3 main settings, but the package says "6 settings", which lead me to believe those were 6 different settings. They are counting the in-betweens as other settings. I was pretty disappointed. I looked extensively at different models and at the description of this one, and I couldn't find those details I was looking for. Some models didn't even have descriptions at all.

Anyway buyer beware of packaging. Other than that main point, it's a really nice alternative to the standard head. My kids actually like showers when they can control the stream of water. Also the settings it does have are good standards to have if there are only 3.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bring back the old style, August 24, 2006

The WaterPik inserts into the holder from the base rather than around the neck near the head. This places it annoyingly higher and above the reach of shorter people. Not happy with that change at all after years of using the older version.

4.0 out of 5 stars super sprayer, March 30, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: WaterPik NVG-653C Grace Shower Massage 6-Setting Hand-Held Chrome Showerhead (Tools & Hardware)
My house came with a fixed WaterPik showerhead that I liked but that wasn't too helpful rinsing the cleaning chemicals from the shower stall. I replaced it with a handheld model from Interbath that I bought at another store that looked very similar to the WaterPik models, but its non-massage settings were too light for me. That one just got replaced with this WaterPik unit, which has a much heavier spray on the non-massage settings, the way I prefer. My only gripe, which is very minor, is that the ball joint won't let you point it straight down, so if you're in a shower stall it's hard to aim it so that you're not in the spray at least partly.
