4.0 out of 5 stars peace of mind
I purchased this carrier to use in the pool this summer. My daughter is now 4 months and we used it just this past weekend. I wanted this product after seeing a similar one in a magazine. 2.0 out of 5 stars Looks dangerous to me...
You can't adjust for depth of the water. This is semi safe in a pool...maybe ok, and deadly in an open water setting like a lake, river, or ocean. If the water rises or you slip, in goes the baby. Even in your arms you could raise the child over your head. I would never buy or recommend a product like this. Floating seats are FAR safer. Like this:Baby Spring Float Sun...

4.0 out of 5 stars peace of mind, July 28, 2005

I purchased this carrier to use in the pool this summer. My daughter is now 4 months and we used it just this past weekend. I wanted this product after seeing a similar one in a magazine. It worked well and gave me peace of mind, knowing that I couldn't drop her. Of course I still held on tightly and the buoyancy of the neoprene helped keep her afloat. I subtracted 1 star because I thought the fit was a little loose. I would have preferred a slightly more snug feeling when wearing the carrier. Overall I think it is a fine product and glad I bought it.

My son is 4 months old and my daughter is 3. She has to be in the pool at all times, so we bought this for my son to be in the pool with us. We planned a vacation in Cancun and he went swimming in the pool every morning before the sun came up in the water tot. He LOVED it. It was great. We used it several times a day while my daughter played in the pool and have used it at home since we returned. If you are in the pool a lot, this is the product to buy, because you can also manage other kids since you don't have to hold the baby while he's in the carrier.

4.0 out of 5 stars Helpful Carrier..., August 24, 2005
This review is from: The Original Watertot (Toy)
The carrier is a nice way to keep the baby close when you want to be in the pool. It was a little tricker to put on than I thought it was going to be. My son ended up being lower than I thought, so I had to be more careful not to get too much water in his mouth. But overall it worked great and I think he enjoyed it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great carrier!, October 8, 2008
This review is from: The Original Watertot (Toy)
I purchased this carrier for my daughter over the summer. She loved it and it is very comfortable to wear. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I wish the baby could sit up higher so that I could be more of the water. I am short, so I did have to be carful not to have the water level to high for the baby. My husband did not have this problem because he is six feet tall.
