2.0 out of 5 stars Lacks major songs from the movie
This soundtrack did not live up to my expectations. There were many songs that were in the movie that ended up being ommitted from the soundtrack. I bought it for "Block Rocking Beats" which was in the movie, but mysteriously enough was out of the soundtrack!

3.0 out of 5 stars so close!, April 20, 1999

This CD hits on many levels, but misses out big time with the omission of Everything's "Hooch." I don't know why the song was omitted, but it is one of the best tracks from the movie. Buy 'Supernatural' by Everything to go with it... or you're missing an important piece of the soundtrack.

Like the readers above. I was searching for Block Rocking Beats. It was a major part of the movie yet it was left out of the album. Funny how that worked out. While you are there, pick up the other songs off the album and have your own version..................

4.0 out of 5 stars This album has songs that is enjoyable for every music lover, February 7, 1999

All of the songs on this C.D meets the high standards of every song gender. You get classic artists like The Doors, Earth Wind and Fire, Creedence Greenwater Revital, John Mellancamp and Joe Walsh. You also get the modern popular stars like The Candyskins, Lenny Kravitz and Candlebox. If you are into rap and you enjoy listening to Lifelong or Incident or both; YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT! Both Lifelong and Incident do a duet in there brand new song called "Doin'My Thang" and I think this song is a tribute to the movie itself. More of the artists I didn't mention are Goldfinger, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Allman Brothers and Rush. The reason I got this album is because I am a Candlebox fan and I wan't to listen to every Candlebox song out there. The Candlebox song on this soundtrack is called "Glowing Soul" and I think this song is awesome. If you seen the movie and you think it's great GET THE SOUNDTRACK! you won't be disappointed.

I just watched Waterboy again recently, and noticed that Big Head Todd and the Monsters had a song in the movie. The song is "Boom Boom" by John Lee Hooker, but gosh do they sing it awesome!
I can tell you that it's even better to hear in concert! In my opinion, they definitely make this soundtrack!

This is a great CD with any type of music you could possibly like. It is one hit after another from cover to cover. It, like the movie, is destined to be an all time classic
