I have been purchasing Moleskine Watercolor Books for many years now, however I found the size a bit limiting. When I saw this item for sale, I thought they had made it with me in mind. I paint large, so a small sketchbook limits my exploration for large pieces. This A3 size is just right. The paper is the same, it is exceptionally sturdy as all Moleskines and the very roomy pocket makes it nice for storing other artwork flat. I loved this so much I also purchased the A3 size pockets which are great for flat storing smaller paper works! Do yourself a favor, take the hit and give this sketchbook a try. Even if you do not work in watercolors, it works great for other mediums...I use ink and acrylics. Additionally, if you are an art journaler, this is the book for you!

All I can say is this is Moleskine quiality all the way! I am a fan of watercolors and love Moleskines and I had wanted one of these for a long time. I must say the only thing I kind of expected was for the pages to be detachable. Even so, it is still a magnificent product.

I have this in A4 size and I am really pleased I received the A3 size and in an impressive timely manner. I tried to order this online somewhere else and instead I got the A3 moleskin 'sketchbook' folio by my mistake and it is absolutely not suited for water colour paint.

The only unfortunate drawback to receiving this item through the post is that I noticed some damage to the front right corner and inside corner cover. Also a noticeable dent on the back cover. The box may have been to large (width wise), needed more padding on the corner's(?)

Luckily none of the leaves were damaged. Perhaps during transit the box may have been handled roughly causing the slight damage.
Otherwise, overall a marvelous portable water colour book that I can carry with me and make my painting's when I choose.

I love Moleskine and this was perfect for my sketches. I'm a fashion design student and I do my croquis here. It's pretty good
