Another good book by Robin Jones Gunn,
By A Customer
This review is from: Waterfalls (Glenbrooke, Book 6) (Paperback)
I must say that I am quite impressed with all the books written by R.J.G. Waterfalls is another sweet romance with a lot of spiritual truths to bless the reader. One of the major themes in the book, involves the obsession we have with movie stars. We live in a world where Hollywood actors are our heroes and we fail to realize that they are no different us and have as many faults as we do. Instead, the characters in Waterfalls allow us to look beyond that, at the true character of a person's heart and whether God exists in them or not. I also loved the dialogue between the characters. The books by R.B.J are also entertaining and the very best of contemporary fiction that I have read. I have the whole Glenbrook series collection. I also have the Christy Miller and Sierra Jensen books. Although, these are recommended for younger readers, I still find them entertaining and worth a good read. These books teach you a lot about life.

EXECELLENT!,

This is the best book I have ever read! Robin's books just keep getting better and better! I love to laugh and when reading a book it doesn't happen to often. This book made me laugh right out loud! Even though I had people looking at me like I was crazy I was completly content to sit and keep reading this book. I couldn't put it down! I know I must have gotten negative hours of sleep due to not wanting to put this book down. As you can see I strongly advise each and every person to read this book. It has a soft romance but also includes and awesome God that you can come right out and talk to. Most books make God look like a far off figure but this book showed that God is right there waiting for you to talk to Him.

The funniest and most amazing romance novel you'll ever read,

Robin Jones Gunn is my favorite author and everything she writes is exceptional! I was extremely excited to find that each of her book's characters tie in with each other, they don't isolate themselves to a specific book. Her characters never cease to amaze me with how real they seem and how intune their everyday lives are with ours. Her books give you hope, and when you read them you suddenly begin to realize, "Yeah, I've been in this situation." And "Hey, this is really what happens in life." She doesn't have false, perfect characters whose lives and standards can't be lived up to, no on the contrary, her characters face the same problems we face in everyday life and make the same mistakes we make. But, instead of hard-luck stories without hope of ever finding the way out of situations, Robin writes of the ultimate love and healing that God gives to His children when they seek Him and admit their mistakes. With this in mind, I can honestly tell you that all of her books are winners and none of them have ever had reason for disappointment. Waterfalls is by far on the top five list of books she wrote. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard while reading a book. Robin combines all the elements of humor, romance, and a personal relationship with God, the latter of which is so very important. You have to understand that romance is a wonderful gift from God and that trusting in Him and following His will will always have the best ending results.

This book is my favorite out of all the books in The Glenbrooke Series. Don't get me wrong. They're all good, this one just happens to be my favorite. It's about Meredith, Shelly's younger sister. I loved this book! It was really good! If you've read other books in The Glenbroke Series or the Christy Miller Series you'll love this one! I would recommend this book! It's sooo good!

I loved this book! I have to say that I really like Robin Jones Gunn's books. I started by reading the Christy Miller books and then found out about the Christy and Todd books. After I finished those I later started the Glenbrooke series. I really like this series and like all of the books I've read so far. This one though is one of my favorites!

I would have to say that this book is my favorite out of the 8 books in the Glennbrooke series! Every book has its own great message and sweet endings and I would recommend this series to anyone who loves to read, and like the back of the book says "Welcome to Glennbrooke, a quiet place where souls are refreshed" these books will really refresh your soul and make you feel good inside!I also recommend:

Truly a winner,

I like all of the Glenbrooke series, but this one is my favorite. I love Meri as a character. She gets herself in ridiculous situations but never manages to lose her sense of humor. She would be the type of person you'd like to have as a friend. Also, Jake is a great example of the clueless male. Reading about these two people getting together is fun because you care about the characters.

What an awesome book!!,

I just finished "Waterfalls"..and couln't wait to go online to find out more about this author! This is one of the best written Christian works I have ever found..not only totally life-like believable, but also with none of the "stuffed shirt" typical Christian cliches that so many ispirational romances are filled with. Robin's characters are people we all know, having real things happening in their lives, with deep and true emotions common to all of us. Her incredible use of scripture in every day situations was eye-opening and faith inspiring. Thak you, Robin!!

Breaking the Boundries,
By
This review is from: Waterfalls (Glenbrooke, Book 6) (Paperback)
Meri is the most delightful character! She was so real, and fun, I wish she really exsisted! Robin has quite outdone herself. This is one of the funniest books I've ever read; and you just don't find many of those on the Christian shelves. A sense of humor goes a long way in getting fundimental truths about God across to the reader. Someone has finally broken the boundries of stiff, unrealistic Christians who can't make jokes or have fun! I've shared this book with so many, I've lost count. I know that it will have a positive impact on all who read it. I can't wait for the next one!
