Pretty decent little book,

This review is from: Waterfalls of Yellowstone National Park (Paperback)
Well this book by Mr.Maynard is a lot better then his Grand Teton book- he has color and B&W photo's of each waterfall he listed in his book. Good description of each falls, the main minus in this book is not a very good detailed maps, decent direction's though.
The first 31 pages of the book the writer is writing about the park it self- a three page story on waterfall photography-which can be found in his other books. Each waterfall listed the writer tells you the height of the falls and how far roundtrip it is to get to the falls, he does not mention however a "difficulty" rating on how hard it is to reach the falls (like found in Mr.Plumbs Waterfall Lovers Guide) Overall I think it would be a good guide to have on your trip to Yellowstone.

Excellent and very useful. I was able to use it to plan my trip, I found it very accurate.

This was not the book that I thought I had ordered, but it was my mistake. Therefore Amazon was not at falt and there was no recourse. It is OK, but not what I wanted.
