The 12 Days of Christmas Flutes are a spin-off of Waterford's popular 12 Days of Christmas Ornament collection. Each of the 12 different champagne flutes showcases a different Waterford pattern and one of the 12 "days of Christmas" symbols famous from the Christmas carol chestnut. The second flute in the series features the Alana pattern and two turtle doves on a 10-inch tall glass crafted of crystal. Also included is a silver-plated partridge charm with a ruby enhancer and a product romance card. All of the flutes are sold as singles in hinged red gift boxes for easy gifting during the busy holiday season. --Jeff Dalto

23 Years ago Waterford has a collection of Ornaments that showcased the Twelve Days of Christmas. It isbecause of that populartity that Waterford has come up with a spin on that original collection and has adapted the patterns for a collection of flutes, each one showcasing a particular Waterford pattern and twelve days symbol. The second in this series is the Two Turtle Doves on a flute cut with the Alana pattern. Also included is a silverplated dove charm with an emerald enhancer. This collection's flutes are sold as singles in a hinged red gift box.

Every year I send my sister and her husband the next two glasses for Christmas and every Christmas they toast with the new addition - the glasses are gorgeous as Waterford always is and they come in a beautiful gift box that is almost as pretty as the glass itself!

This is not a set I would collect for myself. It's ideal for gift giving, particularly to a lifelong friend you miss very much.

It's a romantic them and it will carry you through 12 holidays!

(BTW - the handsome "limited edition" box is actually 13"x 6" x 6" and it stores or ships quite nicely. It's a lovely red box with a silver suitcase latch, that could can ad a few more personal items to, before giving.)
