Simple & Durable
Great box! Doesn't look all "space age" or anything. Its simple "boxy" shape allows you to maximize the use of storage space. Other odd-shaped boxes waste space. The plastic is also more durable than most other plastic tool boxes I've seen, as are the metal hinges & rivited mounts.

Light duty kit box
This is a very simple plastic box. The center buckled slightly so that the cover hinges initially did not line up and the cover tended to pop apart at one end or the other when closing. This is because the hinges are open saddle hooks that press fit together. Heating the cover with a hair dryer/blower around the center hinge and pressing it inward...

This is a very simple plastic box. The center buckled slightlyso that the cover hinges initially did not line up and the cover tended to pop apart at one end or the other when closing. This is because the hinges are open saddle hooks that press fit together. Heating the cover with a hair dryer/blower around the center hinge and pressing it inward I was able to straighten the alignment so that the cover opens and closes smoothly.
