5.0 out of 5 stars ABBA Triumphs, November 22, 2010
By
This review is from: Waterloo (MP3 Download)
Sequins. Scandinavians. A quartet of sexy Swedes. It's no wonder "Waterloo" was one of the songs that catapulted ABBA from the Eurovision song contest to the international stage. This song is one of the hippest, funnest, coolest songs ever of the '70s. Somehow they turned a song about a military defeat into a triumphant song about falling in love. Can we imagine the cast of Glee: The Complete First Season belting this out? YES WE CAN! It would be a perfect finale for a musical version of War and Peace (Oxford World's Classics), with the kids of McKinley High and the sexy Mr. Schuester singing in sequined Napoleonic era costumes. "I always win when I lose!" This one's a winner.
