5.0 out of 5 stars A great green shower head
I just got this, after searching and comparing with the similar products. It has maximum water consumption of 1.5 gpm, comparing to current standard 2.5 gpm, and it is also surprisingly quiet to run. There's a button on the side for switching from normal or low spray mode, also a 'handle' on head surface for switching from rain spray to 3-stream fast spray mode. It's very...

3.0 out of 5 stars We liked it - until it broke...
Best low-flow showerhead I've tried so far, but the mostly (all?) plastic construction is a downside. The ring that holds the swivel ball in the back split after about six months of use, so now we're looking for something a little more solid.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor water pressure coming from a home with HIGH water pressure... DO NOT BUY, May 1, 2011
This review is from: Waterpik Ecoflow Fixed Mount Showerhead (Misc.)
We purchased this shower head due to it saying "power wash" we wanted a firm, strong water flow and had no issue with it being a "green" shower head. However, it is PATHETIC, takes FOREVER to rinse shampoo out of my hair, not an enjoyable experience and it makes showering last twice as long and I am sure I use more water using it since I have to wash for-ev-er to get clean.

I do not recommend it what so ever.

3.0 out of 5 stars Best shower head we ever had...until it broke., March 18, 2010

Here is our story. Bought this about a year ago to try and cut down on our water use. Put it in our old house, we loved it. The pressure was fine, the pause was pretty nice, the water just trickles out when you push it, the water shoots straight out and doesn't splatter. When we moved to a new house, the more expensive showerhead we bought for our new house was terrible, so since we still owned the old house, we went back and switched our new showerhead for our old EcoFlow(tm) 3 Mode VBE-423/Chrome. Sadly, it just broke tonight and we are distraught. As J. Notis said "The ring that holds the swivel ball in the back split", this same thing happened to us. But, we are going to buy another because we liked it so much. Yes it is not eco friendly to have to buy a new showerhead every few years, but hopefully we will watch snapping that ring.

I had the same experience as J. Notis. I had it about 8 months then one morning I reached up to press the water saver button and the plastic part that screws into the metal (that attaches to the wall) cracked spraying water everywhere. I did enjoy it while it lasted!!

We tried this first on a shower where the water pressure was low, and it worked just fine - better than the standard showerhead. However, where water pressure is good, it is not at all subtle about saving water. The "central jet" mode is fine, but the normal mode is weak and unsatisfactory.

2.0 out of 5 stars It sucked, July 12, 2010

I can't put it any more blunt than that. It sucked. The pressure was low, the nozzles clogged, the water shut off toggle slowed the water at best, but never fully stopped it. It took forever to rinse off using the regular spray speed. I had to switch to the "massage" setting in order to get any rinsing power.

I switched to Alsons 655CBX Fluidics Shower Head, Chrome Finish which uses only 1.6 gallons per minute, but still feels like a good shower. Rinses shampoo and soap quickly and doesn't clog. Spend the extra 10 bucks and forget about that joke of a toggle switch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Waterpik Eco flo, January 11, 2012
This review is from: Waterpik Ecoflow Fixed Mount Showerhead (Misc.)
Mine works great. One push on the button and the water is reduced, but still gives enough flow to keep you warm. When I finish face, hair and body wash, I turn on full flow and all is well. I'm getting another one, and will remember for gifts. This is a smart item. Users need to post products that are better. This one works beautifully.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tweeked It's Nice, October 8, 2011
This review is from: Waterpik Ecoflow Fixed Mount Showerhead (Misc.)
I live on the third floor of a building so water pressure is "less." When I first installed the Ecoflow; it was just "ok."

Did a little "surgery" and removed the flow restrictor. For a measured increased output to 1.75 gallons per minute; and pleasurably increased pressure. Still "eco" in my mind, but a greatly improved showering experience.

What I ended up with are my two favorite settings for a "Shower Massage." Only I like this better because I don't have to deal with the "extra clicks" for settings I didn't use anyway. And it saves on the water bill... Definately like the "handle" vs. a "ring" to change modes.

The modern "boot" design looks nice too.

This was the second Waterpik Ecoflow shower head that I have purchased. It is excellent. This is the future of reduced water use. The flow rate is great and I do not feel the reduced amount of water makes any difference over other less efficient/more wasteful shower heads.

This shower head is nothing like the old, horrible misting shower heads of the past. And labeling it "low flow" would imply something that is not what you will experience.

Plus it does have a "massage" setting plus a shut off button on the shower head so you can stop the water for a short time if you want to soap up without messing up the faucet settings.

Looks good and works great, plus saves water. If you are even thinking about replacing a shower head, get this one sooner than later and start saving water without the loss of a great shower. Truly one of the best balances between water use and getting a decent shower I have ever experienced.

GREAT PRODUCT
