I really liked this shower head. Unfortunately it developed a leak in the selector that just continues to get worse. Its useless after 6 months.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good basic massaging shower head., January 4, 2007

Bought this for my grandmother, but I had to take out the little rubber ring inside it which restricts the waterflow to 3.5 gallons a min or somthing like that, after which it worked perfectly.

Waterpic makes pretty good stuff, so don't worry about the quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Relaxing!, October 22, 2008

This is an amazing item. My old showerhead was worn out and barley shot out any water. Waterpik showerhead came very quick in the mail(thank you Amazon)and I installed it right away and YES it is extremely easy to do. If you can turn a knob you can install this. It has 6 settigs and I have treid all of them and each one gives you a different shower vibe-so to say. I've had mine for like 3 weeks now and I am still satisfied. If anyone has an old showerhead and you think you need a plumer to fix your water... try a new showerhead first. This one was just a grab to solve a weak shower solution and trust me it was worth it. Plus they have chrome as well if you need that to match your bathroom.

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't get a chance!, January 18, 2007
WE didn't even get a chance to try out the waterpik shower massager because as we were assembling it, the cheap plastic screw-cap split in two! We were hopeful and anticipating great showers with this new product, but within just hours of opening it as a present on Christmas morning and attempting to get it hooked up, it was broken and in the trash. So sad! I'm just glad it was only $20. It would probably be a good idea for the manufacturer to at least make the screw portion of the shower head in chrome as well as the sprayer and use minimal plastic, if any at all.

2.0 out of 5 stars Fixed head = almost useless., December 1, 2006
I purchased this hoping it would solve the problem of low water pressure in my apartment. It does, but only if you set the nozzles to center-fire, which feels like a hose. If you want to use the outer water jets, they only work in non-massage mode. The biggest problem with this series is that the shower head isn't on a pivot ball like 99% of the other shower heads in the world. It *LOOKS* like a pivot through the packaging, which is extremely deceptive. Why Waterpik couldn't spend the extra dollar to make this a functioning positional head is beyond me. As it stands, wherever the shower head points when you screw it on to your pipes is where it will ALWAYS point.

1.0 out of 5 stars More hype than fact, March 1, 2006
This review is from: Waterpik Original 6-Mode Massage Showerhead, White #SM-621 (Tools & Hardware)
The description says it has a generous shoulder to shoulder setting. I guess that could be true if you are a skinny 4 year old. At two feet from the nozzle It barely covers my neck. The water saving plug still restricts flow so that the pulse is barely more than a pathetic drip. I replaced my hand held worthless Waterpik (with a narrow spray pattern) with a cheap ($6) fixed mount but the spray was still to narrow. Hoping that this model was better I bought it. but this Waterpick is barely bigger than the $6 discount cheapo. I thought maybe it was the watersaver plug causing the problem so I removed it but it didn't change much. Save your money and buy a cheap fixed shower head or if you truly want a wide spray spend the money and buy one of the heads that is MUCH wider. I trusted the WaterPik brand but this was a waste of money.
