This little pill fob is heavy duty. My husband lost the one I got him years ago and after many trials and errors I finally found this one. He likes the weight and the size. It is perfect for carrying a couple of doses (he takes several medications) in his pocket and it is waterproof. I know it is waterproof for sure because he left it in his pocket and I washed the jeans it was in. I found it while unloading the wash and the pills were nice and dry and as an added bonus there was no damage to the pill fob. There are cheaper models out there, but I would recommend this one to everyone!

This is a great product for people who need to take medication throughout the day, especially men who don't carry a pocketbook. My husband used to put his extra pills in his pocket, but they often got crushed. Now his medicine is on his keys and he always has his keys! One problem--the lid can work its way unscrewed, so be sure to give it a tighten every so often. This is our second one--the first one fell off somewhere and all he had left was the lid hanging from the key chain! Easy to deal with, though, by just being aware.

Another reviewer posted that these were stainless steel and that determined my buy. I work with metals, turn metals of all types on a lathe and these are not stainless steel nor are they any kind of steel for that matter. Plain old anodized aluminum. So now you know. They'll work better if you chase the threads as they are clogged with aluminum bits and that makes it feel like you are turning the cap into sandpaper. Another top quality Chinese product. <sarcasm off> Knocking two stars off for that and the only reason I didn't knock more off was the OFFICIAL Amazon description makes no mention of materials other than to post a photograph that shows this is obviously "metal" of some pedigree. I was considering turning my own on the lathe when I spotted these. Looks like I'll be on the lathe after all and I'll turn a nice thick (made in America) brass pill holder. These ALUMINUM holders will work fine for you if you aren't to rough on 'em.

I've seen two kinds of FOB that look like this. One is cheap and aluminum. The other is heavy and nice, doesn't scratch, and has strong threads. The item description saying this weighed 1.5 ounces made me assume this was the latter. I guess they just send whatever they have regardless of description because I got a cheap, light, aluminum version.

Lame. Don't order this unless you're okay with either kind.

This pill box is a MUST if (like me) you forget your morning meds. This will easily hold a dozen various sized pills. The length of the pill holder is about the length of a standard house key. It has a water-resistant seal that works beautifully, though it needs to be fully engaged/tightened. Really couldn't ask for a better product :-)

DRINKS MIXERS, FROTHERS, MIXING CUPS & PILL CRUSHERS. Having been forced to become my own compounding pharmacist - due to the fact that MS prevents me from swallowing pills whole - a mixing machine is de rigueur for my home. I have a certain amount of water, ground pills, Equal fake sugar and honey that have to be measured and mixed.

The result of all this measuring and mixing is what is called an "oral suspension". Such a concoction requires a bevy of items used in its manufacture - hence my "drink-mixing-self-compounding-pharmacist" series of reviews.

These dandy pill containers are even better than the smaller "bullet" style ones. There is no end of variety of pills you can jam into one of these. They screw up watertight and it won't matter if you threw one into a filled bathtub. Safe, secure and quite the conversation piece. I love these and own only one, but beware: they are heavy and pendulous.

The best places for these are either on your keychain or hidden in a pocket. My wife used to keep a rolled up $20 bill, a small "just-in-case" note and some form of handwritten ID with contact phone numbers - she acted like she was on a mission from the CIA.

Come to think of it, this cool little product will remind of you a spy gadget. Just remember, it's for pills, not for thrills!

I love this product! It has come in handy many times. It was a little smaller then I thought but it still holds the pills I need. I purchased a couple for me and my father-in-law. While I was pregnant it was the perfect way to keep my prenatal pills hand until I could eat a meal to take them with. I didnt have to worry about them falling out of my pocket or getting wet. I also gave one to my father in law because he is diabetic and several times he has left the home to go help someone or to travel and has forgotten his pills and had to come all the way home, this way he is able to keep a spare set of his pills with him just in case. It is very durable and easy to screw the lid on and off. My son is 17 months and is unable to unscrew the lid so it is child proof for him. I love that it is waterproof too so no more soggy pills. I would highly recommend this product.

Well from other reviews i knew these were aluminum and not stainless steal but when i received them i found them to be thin aluminum. The threads still had some burs on them and made opening them a little tough the first time. I opened them and cleaned off all the burs and now they do not bind at all. They have an o-ring around the top but as they are thin and the threads are not deep i am not going to crank down on them as i beleive they will strip out. I ran water over them from the sink and they stayed dry but when i dropped them in my hot tub to the bottom for 5 min there was a small drop of water inside. So if you are buying these to keep tomething dry as you swim or something like that then look past these but if your getting these to keep something dry while backpacking and keep rain out then they will work. As i bought these to hold some pills of diff kinds while backpacking, camping and hiking they will be ok for me.
