I always like to read Amazon reviews on items before I buy. Unfortunately, this booklet did not match up to other's review comments.
All the knots are well illustrated, but every knot involves numerous finger contortions and twists using both hands.
If you really need to know how to tie a spider hitch, Bimini twist, hand tensioned Bimini double (with this knot you'll also need to use your foot), plaiting a double, Tony Jones leader knot, cats paw, butt leader splice, plaited splice, Bimini cats paw splice, locked half blood knot, nail knot with a loop, thumb knot, Flemish eye wire rig or a haywire twist & barrel roll, rigging garfish as troll bait, a twisted leader knot, a perfection loop, Homer Rhode loop - then this is the book for you.
If you're looking for a quick reference for some of the more basic and classical fisherman knots, then go with the plastic Ultimate Knot or Pro-Knot offerings. I just found this booklet to be about knots I've never heard of, or even be interested in learning how to tie. Too exotic and esoteric.

way way over the head of the average angler even an advanced angler would not need to tie most of these convoluted knots...........

I like having knot information. This is not knot information, it's knot gymnastics. I agree with the other reviewers - these knots are incredibly complicated and without being raised on the waterfront as a daily fisherman, you probably will never learn these and use them regularly. I suggest the PROKNOT series as a replacement. Those knots are simpler and don't require insane finger contortions.
